Balsamic Vinegar Reduction

A simple reduction of Balsamic Vinegar turns into a delicious rich, sweet syrup that can be drizzled over anything. So good!

Ingredients

  • 17 oz bottle of Balsamic vinegar.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Pour the vinegar into a pot on the stove.  Add 1/2 cup sugar and a pinch of salt.
  2. Turn the heat up and simmer on medium until the liquid has reduced by half.  Stir occasionally and check on it frequently.  when it gets to a syrup like consistency it is done!
