Best Salsa Ever!

I have been making this salsa for 25 years!  It's always a hit and never disappoints.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium red pepper
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • salt to taste don' be shy
  • hot red pepper flakes if you feel so inclined 2 shakes or 2 dashes of Sriracha

Instructions

  1. Place the first 4 ingredients into a food processor,  pulse until fine or chop very fine.
  2. Place crushed tomatoes in a large bowl and add the ingredients from the processor to it.
  3. Add honey, salt and vinegar- stir to combine.  keep adding salt until it tastes just right.
  4. Done, fast simple and delicious!!!
  5. Best if served soon after making, stays fresh up to two days.
